Basketball Recap: Prairie Comes Up Short

Prairie suffered their biggest loss since January 16, 2024 on Friday. They were outmatched by the Kendrick Tigers and fell 58-31. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Pirates' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Kendrick, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Prairie will square off against Lapwai at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lapwai will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Prairie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kendrick, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 64-44 victory against St. Maries on the 8th.
