Volleyball Recap: Shelby County Finds Home Court Redemption Against Jackson-Olin + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Shelby County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Everything went their way against the Jackson-Olin Mustangs on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-6, 25-16.

Eva Walker paced Shelby County's offense, picking up six kills. Walker got some help from Wendy McGehee and her 14 assists. McGehee was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Shelby County's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Jackson-Olin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Looking ahead, Shelby County will take on Central of Coosa County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson-Olin, they will face off against Wenonah at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
