Volleyball Recap: Landmark Christian Takes a Loss

The Landmark Christian War Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Lee County Trojans on Tuesday and fell 2-1. While the War Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-20 in the first set.

Landmark Christian started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-18, 15-13.

Kynnedi Terry paced Landmark Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. Terry got some help from Kaitlyn Brezina and her 16 assists. Lucy O'Rouke controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Landmark Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Lee County, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Landmark Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Brookstone on the 12th. As for Lee County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Valdosta on the 14th.
