Soccer Recap: Big Bear Gets the Win

On Friday, the Big Bear Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Academy of Careers & Exploration Eagle.

Cristian Gallardo and Jasper Haldeman scored both of Big Bear's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Big Bear's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Big Bear will welcome Silver Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Academy of Careers & Exploration, they will be playing at home against Palmdale Academy Charter School at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Palmdale Academy Charter School will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Academy of Careers & Exploration surely won't give up without a fight.
