Bessemer Academy skates past Clarke Prep with ease

In what's become a running theme this season, the Bessemer Academy Rebels gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 63-26 victory over Clarke Prep at home. Winning may never get old, but Bessemer Academy sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Bessemer Academy was led to victory by Kane Burns and Johnathan Winston. Burns scored ten points along with three steals, while Winston scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Luke Turner, who scored 11 points.

Bessemer Academy's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.8 points per game. As for Clarke Prep, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.

Bessemer Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fort Dale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Clarke Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
