After flying high against Crook County last Friday, Bend came back down to earth. The Lava Bears lost to the Lebanon Warriors on the road by a 54-35 margin on Friday. The Lava Bears' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the defeat, Bend had strong showings from Kaden Cooper, who threw for 224 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and James Mathiesen, who picked up 86 receiving yards and one score.

Bend's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lebanon, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Bend will face off against Summit at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Storm's defense has only allowed 14.7 points per game this season, so the Lava Bears' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lebanon, they will challenge South Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
