Volleyball Game Preview: Armstrong Trojans vs. Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes + How To Watch

The Armstrong Trojans will face off against the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, Armstrong came up short against Westville and fell 2-0. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Armstrong was not able to win a set, but it sure wasn't from a lack of trying: every set was decided by exactly three points. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Hoopeston on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Buffaloes in their matchups with the Cornjerkers: they've now won four in a row.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm never let Hoopeston on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-23.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm's victory bumped their record up to 19-7. As for Armstrong, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.
