Warrenton had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 24-7 victory over the Wright City Wildcats on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri football rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Wildcats are ranked 205th).

Coming up, Warrenton will be playing at home against Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Wright City, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Winfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
