Volleyball Recap: West Field Takes Down West in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Field had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the West Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

West Field found their leader in freshman Jorie Schiffman, who had 14 digs and two assists.

West Field's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season.

West Field has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Fremont on the 29th. As for West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Brighton on the 29th.
