Volleyball Recap: New Albany Continues Home Dominance on Thursday

After losing to Kossuth the last time they met, New Albany decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Aggies by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

New Albany had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 15-25, 26-24, 25-15, 25-14.

New Albany pushed their record up to 7-6-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Kossuth, their loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Albany will head out to take on Center Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kossuth, they will face off against Booneville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
