Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Milton). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Waunakee Warriors a 10-0 shutout on Saturday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Milton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Waunakee, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Milton beat the Warriors by a score of 3-2 later that day.
