Basketball Recap: Rensselaer Central Comes Up Short

Rensselaer Central and South Knox squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Rensselaer Central had to settle for second. They came up short against the South Knox Spartans, falling 55-33. The Bombers just can't catch a break and have now endured eight losses in a row.

Rensselaer Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for South Knox, their win bumped their record up to 12-13.

Coming up, Rensselaer Central will face off against Western Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Western Boone is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.3 points per game this season. As for South Knox, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 43-35 victory against Sullivan on the 4th.
