Basketball Recap: Hampden's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hampden hadn't done well against Bangor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hampden Broncos walked away with a 37-26 victory over the Bangor Rams. The Broncos have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

The win (which was Hampden's third in a row) raised their record to 7-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Bangor, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampden will venture away from home to take on Gardiner at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bangor, they are taking a road trip to challenge Scarborough at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
