Basketball Game Preview: Pahokee Blue Devils vs. Okeechobee Brahmans

The Pahokee Blue Devils just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Okeechobee Brahmans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pahokee has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Okeechobee will arrive with three straight wins.

Pahokee came into this matchup off a tough 44-point loss back in December of 2025. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Atlantic Christian by a score of 33-31 on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Okeechobee). They breezed past Berean Christian to the tune of 62-9 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Brahmans with their most commanding win of the season.

Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Okeechobee, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Pahokee couldn't quite get it done against Okeechobee in their previous meeting back in January of 2025 as they fell 41-30. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
