Jamestown is a perfect 10-0 against Bruton since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Eagles will welcome the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, Jamestown beat Essex 7-4. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bruton). Everything went their way against West Point on Monday as they made off with a 15-3 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Ty Yates and William Muller did most of the damage at the plate: Yates scored two runs while going 4-for-4, while Muller scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance also gave Muller a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Landon Middlebrook, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The victory made it two in a row for Bruton and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Jamestown, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Everything went Jamestown's way against Bruton in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Jamestown made off with a 9-3 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
