Softball Recap: Southern Wayne Comes Up Short

Southern Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for C.B. Aycock, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Wayne will welcome Smithfield-Selma at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for C.B. Aycock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cape Fear at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Golden Falcons are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Colts a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
