Softball Recap: Raines Comes Up Short

Raines fell victim to First Coast and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 16-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Raines' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for First Coast, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-10.

Coming up, Raines will welcome Ribault at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Vikings are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for First Coast, they have already played their next game, a 13-4 defeat against Paxon School For Advanced Studies on the 8th.
