Softball Recap: Robinson Bulldogs vs. West Rowan Falcons
Robinson extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 19 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 0-17 in the process. They lost 15-0 to the West Rowan Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, with their most recent defeat being a 19-0 loss on April 8th.
As for West Rowan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games.
For West Rowan's part, Arabelle Shulenburger was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Shulenburger has posted since back in March.
