TERRA Environmental lost to South Miami back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. TERRA Environmental sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the South Miami Cobras. The victory made it back-to-back wins for TERRA Environmental.

Eduardo Ortea spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, TERRA Environmental's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noah Moreno, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Dylan Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

TERRA Environmental's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for South Miami, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1.

Looking ahead, TERRA Environmental will venture away from home to challenge Doral Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Miami, they will host Coral Park at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
