Softball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Pymatuning Valley Lakers, falling 17-1. The Cardinals haven't had much luck with the Lakers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pymatuning Valley, their win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield will head out to face off against Mathews at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pymatuning Valley, they will be playing at home against Conneaut at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
