Soccer Recap: Altavista Comes Up Short

Altavista's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Appomattox County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season.

Altavista will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Galileo at 7:30 p.m. Altavista are facing Galileo at the right time seeing as Galileo are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Appomattox County, they will head out on the road to challenge Nelson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Nelson County will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Appomattox County surely won't give up without a fight.
