Softball Recap: South Lamar Takes a Loss

South Lamar and Holy Spirit Catholic squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but South Lamar had to settle for second. They came up short against the Saints, falling 7-1. The Stallions' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

South Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 13-16. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-13-1.

South Lamar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 11-1 victory against Pickens County on the 28th. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 win against Pickens Academy on the 28th.
