Soccer Recap: Splendora Takes a Loss

Splendora lost against Dayton back in December of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Splendora Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Dayton Broncos.

Splendora has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-1 record this season. As for Dayton, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-0-2 and their overall record up to 6-3-4.

Splendora and Dayton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Splendora will challenge Porter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 396 places (528 vs. 132). Similarly, Dayton (ranked 394th) will meet Kingwood Park (ranked 92nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
