Soccer Recap: Lakes Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Chicago on Thursday, Lakes came back down to earth. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Zurich Bears on Saturday. Lakes haven't had much luck with Lake Zurich recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lakes' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Lake Zurich, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6-1.

Looking ahead, Lakes will welcome Lake Forest at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Zurich, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mundelein at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
