Knoch has won seven straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Indiana has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Thursday. The Knights will welcome the Little Indians at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Last Thursday, Knoch got the win against Derry by a conclusive 8-1. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.
Marlee Fraser made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alena Tekely, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run. Those two hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Emersyn Jones, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
16 must be Indiana's lucky number: they beat Valley with that score not once but twice on Wednesday. The Little Indians never let the Vikings get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. That looming 16-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Little Indians yet this season.
Like Knoch, Indiana also got a great game from a two-way player: Kaylee Cass. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Cass was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
In other batting news, Indiana got a massive performance out of Maggie Cunningham, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Addie Stossel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double.
Knoch's win bumped their record up to 12-1. As for Indiana, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Everything went Knoch's way against Indiana when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Knoch made off with a 16-1 win. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Little Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
