Pigeon Forge has gone a perfect 6-0 against Austin-East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will welcome the Roadrunners at 4:30 p.m. Pigeon Forge's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Austin-East's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Pigeon Forge's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Thursday's struggle, when Hilton Head Christian Academy hitters got past them. The Tigers came up short against the Eagles on Thursday, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Austin-East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-7 heartbreaker at the hands of Hancock County. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Roadrunners' highest-scoring match to date.

Juelz Houston was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That run marked the first that he scored this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Gladney, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Austin-East's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Pigeon Forge, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5-1 record this season.

Pigeon Forge took their win against Austin-East when the teams last played back in April of 2017 by a conclusive 14-0 score. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Roadrunners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
