Newton North put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Newton South Lions by a score of 48-41. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Newton North pushed their record up to 3-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Newton South, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Newton North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 69-63 victory against Catholic Memorial on the 28th. Newton South has also already played their next contest, a 64-44 defeat against Arlington on the 28th.
