Ogallala put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Alliance Bulldogs 83-65. The Indians pushed the score to 61-39 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Seth Meyring, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 20 points and six steals. Meyring's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Espen Lanik, who posted 17 points.

Ogallala's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points per game. As for Alliance, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ogallala will take on Broken Bow in a tournament on Tuesday. One thing working in Ogallala's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Alliance, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scottsbluff at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Alliance is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.3 points per game this season.
