Grant barely beat Chippewa Hills the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Tigers put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 21-2 victory on Monday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Payton Shoemaker made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last 13 games.

In other batting news, Alexa Obenauf was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Addison Herrmann, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one run.

As for Chippewa Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
