Basketball Recap: Plainfield Central Comes Up Short

Plainfield Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Plainfield East Bengals, falling 66-43. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-31 back in December of 2024.

Plainfield Central's record now sits at 1-23. As for Plainfield East, their victory bumped their record up to 8-17.

Plainfield Central will take on Romeoville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainfield East, they will face off against Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
