Softball Preview: Streetsboro Rockets vs. Edgewood Warriors
The Streetsboro Rockets will face off against the Edgewood Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
Friday just wasn't the day for Streetsboro's offense. They came up short against Solon on Friday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Rockets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Meanwhile, Edgewood entered their tilt with Conneaut on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Spartans a 10-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.
