Point Loma is 1-8 against Cathedral Catholic since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Pointers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Dons at 5:25 p.m. The last four games Point Loma has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Point Loma's tournament run continued when they took on Eastlake on Saturday. The Pointers wound up with the same score they had in their last game (5-4), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Meanwhile, Cathedral Catholic made easy work of Otay Ranch on Thursday and carried off an 8-1 win.

With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
