Softball Recap: South Webster Comes Up Short

South Webster lost against Valley last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Jeeps fell just short of the Indians by a score of 4-3. The Jeeps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South Webster saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylee House, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Makayla Raynard also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

South Webster now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Valley, they moved to 6-11 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

South Webster wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 16-2 win against Minford on the 28th. As for Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-1 defeat against Zane Trace on the 24th.
