Nicolet has gone 9-1 against Port Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will challenge the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. Nicolet will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Nicolet came out on top against Hartford on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Knights walked away with an 8-4 win over the Orioles.

Cole Fox was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Jack Stuck was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Nicolet was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Whitefish Bay hit Port Washington with a five-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Pirates fell just short of the Blue Dukes by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered since April 19th.

Sam Hoeft was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Nicolet's record is now 5-11. As for Port Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Nicolet came up short against Port Washington in their previous matchup back in April, falling 10-6. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
