Soccer Recap: William Blount Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, William Blount was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They fell just short of the Knoxville A Ambassadors by a score of 2-1. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but William Blount couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Lukas Baker, who's now up to five this season.

William Blount's loss dropped their record down to 5-12-1. As for Knoxville A, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-5-3.

As of now, neither William Blount nor the Ambassadors have any future games scheduled.
