Basketball Recap: Information Tech Comes Up Short

Information Tech lost against Careers in Television & Film back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Information Tech were beaten by Careers in Television & Film 48-20. While losing is never fun, Information Tech can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Careers in Television & Film is ranked 166th).

This is the second loss in a row for Information Tech and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Careers in Television & Film, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Information Tech is taking a road trip to challenge Aviation at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Information Tech is facing Aviation at the right time seeing as Aviation is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Careers in Television & Film, they will host The Young Women's Leadership School of Astoria at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
