Rockford had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the West Ottawa Panthers. Give Rockford's defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Rockford's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three games. As for West Ottawa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6-1.
