Mercer County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They enjoyed a cozy 58-39 win over the East Jessamine Jaguars. Given the Titans' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Jaguars are ranked 202nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mercer County's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for East Jessamine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.
