Priory hadn't done well against Lutheran South recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Rebels came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 7-3. Seven seems to be a good number for the Rebels as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Robby Temprano was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Huck, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Priory and bumps their season record up to 5-11. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Lutheran South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Priory will face off against Duchesne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lutheran South will be paying especially close attention to the Rebels' game: after the Rebels face off against the Pioneers, they'll take on Lutheran South again at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
