Volleyball Recap: Millis Takes a Loss

Millis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Norton Lancers. While the Mohawks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lancers 25-15 in the first set.

Millis actually scored more points across those five sets (107-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13.

Millis' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Norton, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-7.

Millis has already played their next contest (against Leominster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Norton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
