AAA Region I recap November 5, 2013

Daniel extended the longest winning streak in AAA Region I this week by beating Seneca, 24-0. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Lions.

Wren took down Palmetto 57-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Belton-Honea Path's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dax Roper threw for 40 and 1 touchdown and Marquez Moore had 40 yards receiving. On the ground Roper chipped in 125 yards. Janike Mangle helped Belton-Honea Path's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

The Bears' dynamic duo of Roper and Moore proved tough for Emerald to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Mangle helped Belton-Honea Path's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 14 yards.

The Hurricanes' Kelly Bryant and Harrison Hix have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-4 quarterback Bryant has thrown for 1,995 yards this season, while Hix has 29 catches for 638 yards. Belton-Honea Path's Anthony White leads the league in rushing yards with 1,161.

Going into this week's game against Greenville, Wren's Bryant needs 5 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.
