The Providence Grove Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Wheatmore Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Grove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.1 goals per game this season.

Providence Grove took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against East Davidson, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Patriots beat the Golden Eagles by a goal, winning 3-2. Providence Grove's winning goal came courtesy of Kevin Bautista.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Wheatmore, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over West Davidson on Wednesday. The victory was some much needed relief for Wheatmore as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Providence Grove's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 7-3-5. As for Wheatmore, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Providence Grove beat Wheatmore by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
