Fort Wayne North Side had lost 13 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 1-10 to make it 14. They came up short against the Fort Wayne Wayne Generals, falling 25-15. On the bright side, the 15- run effort marked the Legends' highest-scoring match to date.

Courtney Jackson stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 4-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Aryanna Warren also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they moved to 2-14 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 25th (when they won 20-6).

On Fort Wayne Wayne's side, Faith Couture was incredible, firing off eight RBI, four runs, and two triples while going 6-for-6. Couture has been hot recently, having also posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Hathaway, who went 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne North Side will square off against Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Legends are facing the Giants at the right time seeing as the Giants are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Fort Wayne Wayne, they will face off against Fort Wayne South Side at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Archers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.25 runs per game on average), something the Generals will no doubt try to take advantage of.
