Baseball Recap: Fisher Takes a Loss

Fisher was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Dwight Trojans, falling 11-5.

Jeremiah Todd was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one double and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.

Fisher's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Dwight, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-8.

Looking ahead, Fisher will head out to challenge St. Thomas More at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bunnies are facing the Sabers at the right time seeing as the Sabers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Dwight, they will be playing at home against Herscher at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Trojans have won eight straight at home, while the Tigers won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
