Basketball Recap: Hyannis Skates Past Edgemont with Ease

Hyannis won the last time they faced Edgemont and things went their way on Friday too. The Hyannis Longhorns claimed a resounding 64-35 win over the Edgemont Moguls.

Edgemont's loss came despite strong showings from Sebastian Morse and Keaton Darrow. Morse went 6 of 14 on his way to 12 points along with six boards and six steals, while Darrow posted 12 points in addition to seven assists and five rebounds. Those seven assists gave Darrow a new career-high.

Hyannis now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Edgemont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Hyannis will be playing at home against Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st. Edgemont has already played their next game, a 48-46 victory against Sioux County on the 25th.
