Football Game Preview: Central Valley Christian Cavaliers vs. Immanuel Eagles + Official Tickets

Central Valley Christian is 8-1 against Immanuel since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cavaliers will venture away from home to square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Central Valley Christian took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 21-20 victory over Kingsburg. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

It was another big night for Ja'Khari Burrell, who rushed for 144 yards and two scores on only 13 carries. He has become a key player for Central Valley Christian: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Shondel Hogan helped out on the ground, rushing for 123 yards.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Immanuel against Sierra Pacific on Friday as the team secured a 56-6 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Central Valley Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Immanuel, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Central Valley Christian beat Immanuel 20-7 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cavaliers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
