Basketball Game Preview: Chippewa Chipps vs. Rittman Indians

The Chippewa Chipps and the Rittman Indians will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chippewa is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Chippewa ended up a good deal behind Manchester and lost 67-48. While losing is never fun, the Chipps can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while the Panthers are ranked 150th).

Meanwhile, Rittman can finally bid farewell to their ten-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Friday. They secured a 64-58 W over Northwestern. The Indians' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Rittman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Chippewa, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Chippewa strolled past Rittman in their previous meeting back in February by a score of 59-43. Does Chippewa have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rittman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
