The La Sierra Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Bethel Christian Kings at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. La Sierra is no doubt hoping to put an end to a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.

La Sierra fell victim to Norte Vista and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Braves by a score of 2-0.

La Sierra saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reanna Cervantes, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.

Meanwhile, while Bethel Christian put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Packinghouse Christian Academy. Bethel Christian was the clear victor by a 26-0 margin over Packinghouse Christian Academy. The victory was just what Bethel Christian needed coming off of a 23-9 defeat in their prior matchup.

Kaila Ellison was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Ellison was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and five RBI.

In other batting news, Jaylenne Jauregui was a standout: she scored four runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Kalia Taylor, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with a home run, five RBI, and two runs.
