Basketball Recap: Denison Takes a Loss

Denison lost against Walnut Grove back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Denison Yellow Jackets fell to the Walnut Grove Wildcats 39-34. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Denison's record is now 17-10. As for Walnut Grove, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season.

Denison will head out to square off against Lovejoy at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Lovejoy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Denison surely won't give up without a fight. As for Walnut Grove, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Walnut Grove Wildcats take on the Greenville Lions at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
