Football Recap: Hayfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hayfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the James Madison Warhawks, falling 49-0. While losing is never fun, the Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Warhawks are ranked 16th).

Hayfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for James Madison, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Hayfield will face off against Edison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for James Madison, they will welcome George C. Marshall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warhawks will need to watch out since the Statesmen have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
